WomenCricket 410px 14 10 23Reports reveal that it was selection committee member Suchithra Alexander and team manager Roshan Iddamalgoda who had demanded sexual bribes from players of the Sri Lanka women's cricket team.

'Sri Lanka Mirror' also learns that one of the committee members who carried out the investigation has tipped off the ‘Daily News’ newspaper over the identity of the players who testified before the committee.

As a result, the players who testified are extremely anxious, reports say.

The particular committee comprises of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Head of Cricket Operations - Carlton Bernardus, Legal Officer - Savithri and Human Resources Manager Lasith Mendis.

Players who had testified have further said that the women's team coach Jeewantha Mendis has being scolding the players in derogatory language, reports add.
