nishantha R 410px 18-10-14Sri Lanka cricket players are reportedly in a fix after SLC secretary has gone ahead with his individual whim and agreed to a limited-over tournament with India during the first two weeks of November.

It is said that the team has not undergone batting training for weeks but are more focused on physical fitness training, targeting the tour against England scheduled for the end of November.

Also, with several main players including Lasith Malinga and Thisara Perera being injured, joining such a tournament before being healed could affect their participation in future matches, critics say.

'Mirror Games' learn that the above agreement has taken place due to the business relationship between Ranatunga and sidelined BCCI chief N. Srinivasan.

WI - Indian tour not cancelled

Meanwhile, in a media release, the West Indies Cricket Board has said that, 'contrary to media reports, it has taken no decision to discontinue the ongoing tour to India.'
Such reports citing a discontinuation of the tour has led to a sudden tournament invitation being extended to Sri Lanka.
